During the year 2005 the Sports Coaching Foundation has requested Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh with a proposal to identify rural talented players from various districts of Andhra Pradesh.
The Commissioner, Tribal Welfare Department, Hyderabad (Shri IAS) has approved the said proposed project. After through talent search the Tribal Welfare Department Authorities identified 15 tribal children from each district and deputed them for 25 days summer coaching camp to Hyderabad. Out of 250 boys SCF India has identified me as a cricketer with potential, their efficiency in recognizing my talent led to their effort to put me in a Tribal Welfare Hostel, Hyderabad. I have undergone 15 months rigorous training under personal supervision of Shri. Saibaba, Coach, SCF India.
When I complained of the long distance from the hostel to the SCF ground, the SCF has obilized and shifted me to Masab Tank Academy and since then the SCF has taken care of my accommodation and other basic needs. This surely helped me to focus on my love – cricket.
My parents survive on daily wages with my two younger sisters and a brother who are still in the primary educational age group. My condition was worse when compared to the character of the lead role in the well known film Slum Dog Millionaire; I consider him fortunate because he is someone who acknowledges the way of life in a city like Mumbai, whereas I am from a very much remote and backward place, an unknown, thick forest. I am reminded of the days where I even used to play without wearing slippers. |

We always encouraged Praveeth to study and prosper like any other success ful Human Being. Unlike what we see in families of poor and economical background in this thick forest area. However our hopes that when the Tribal welfare Department Authorities visited our place for the talent hunt, We are happy that our son is keeping up with their exepectations and living his dreams. We are thankful to Mr. Saibaba and Sports Coaching Foundation for all the encouragement he has been giving so far. Our prayers and blessings are with our son always. |

Taking Coaching classes to be successful in life was a common thing. But coaching about the life itself was a very new concept. Understading people and their needs is quite a difficult task. Learining things in a better way is necessry for achieving success.
Life coaching not only depends on technics to achive success but it should also identify other related aspects that held in a attaining the goals such as: Understanding the factors that promote better living standerds which can change life forever.
The fact that Praveeth figured in the final eleven (From whom the best was pick to be send to English County Cricket Legue for one year) was itself a tribute to his efficacy. He lost the race primarly due to lack of votes polled by the Indian Cricket Fans not for want of quality. This he belives should be a source of inspiration.
By all means his is a success story, witch should inspire many budding cricketers even from the tribal belts accross the state. Right now, this promissing young pace bowler needs support from the more-organised league outfits of the HCA.
His is the classic case of the ZERO to HERO story. |
